Learn the basics of softball or be challenged and build upon your skills and get ready for the spring season. Improve your batting, fielding, and base runnning skills whil having fun with your friends. The fast paced drills are custom designed to challenge the player to get to the next level.

Dates and times for the Winter Workout are as follows...

• January 8, 15, 22, 29, 2017, February 5, 12, 19, 26, 2017 
• Session 1 -12:00pm-1:00pm and is for players in grades K-8.
• Session 2- 1:30pm -3:00pm and is for high school players.

The 2016 Summer Softball season is upon us.  Registration is open and is now ONLINE!  We still need some team sponsors and volunteers.  Last year we had 4 coach pitch teams, 2 Junior Storm teams and 2 STORM High School teams.  This year should be even bigger!

• January 17, 24, 31, February* 14, 21, 28, (*No workout on Super Bowl Sunday Feb 7), March 6, 13, 2016
• Session 1 will be 2:00pm-3:00pm (6-12y)
• Session 2 will be 3:15pm-4:45pm (13-18y)

WHASL really needs you!  We have been growing and every year, it just keeps getting better!  In order for the girls to get repetition with the skills of the game we need volunteers each week. 

This season featured 85 girls playing in the West Hartford Amateur Softball League.  There were 2 Coach Pitch, 2 Juniors, and 2 High School teams.  The league would like to thank all of our wonderful players, coaches, umpires, and parents.  To the players...we loved your effort, and sportsmanship.  To the Coaches, your love for the game, the kids, your knowledge of the game, and positive support to the players.  The umpires...Larry Nelson's crew is the best!!  And the parents, getting your girls to the field, postponing dinner time....all the Board Members have been there and we appreciate your commitment and support!!!
